Description
Chateau Pipeau Saint Émilion Grand Cru A.C. shows solid dark cherries, blackberries and chocolate with a touch of roasted spices and sandalwood. Medium- to full-bodied, this has nicely chewy tannins and a rich, flavorful finish. Tight and ambitiously built. Needs some time in bottle. Drink after 2027.
CHATEAU PIPEAU is a family-owned estate, three kilometres from the famous town of SAINT-EMILION, which has been in the family for three generations. Today, Richard MESTREGUILHEM is carrying on his father’s good work by keeping the estate management entirely a family affair.
From one vintage to the next, one of the strengths of CHATEAU PIPEAU is to offer consistent style and personality. It is a wine with expressive fruit, an opulent nose of red berries, roundness on the palate, with good length and a harmonious and elegant finish.
