Leitz ‘Magic Mountain’ Riesling

The MAGIC MOUNTAIN is our characterful Riesling from the steep slopes of the Rüdesheimer Berg and is rightly considered the “second wine of our Grands Crus”.

On the nose, it shows cool, slightly smoky minerality with aromas of lime zest, nectarine and pear. Spicy yeast notes and finely tart herbs such as sage and rosemary underline its depth and expressiveness.

On the palate it is powerful and dense, with precise acidity, mineral tension and creamy texture, characterized by the long yeast storage. A salty finish gives the wine freshness and length. This multi-layered Riesling has expression, structure and remarkable ageing potential.
