La Chablisienne
Chablis vineyards are among the oldest in France. The unique character of its wines originates from the predominantly Kimmeridgian soil with sediment from fossilised oysters. This exceptional soil gives the terroir its minerality, finesse and incomparable crystalline tonality. The varietal used in all AOC Chablis wines is Chardonnay.
La Chablisienne, in the centre of the Chablis vineyards, produces 30 different wines for the appellation as a whole, each a different expression of the unique terroir of Chablis. From Petit Chablis, Chablis, through the different styles of Premier Cru up to the famous Château Grenouilles Chablis Grand Cru, you are sure to find a Chablis to please you.
