Domaine Lafage
Jean-Marc Lafage and Elaine Lafage are exceptionally talented winemakers who both come from many generations of winemakers. They gained valuable experience in California, Australia, South Africa and Chile before returning to Roussillon where they own various sites with some vines over 50 years old. The terroir at the coast is weathered alluvial gravel while higher in the foothills of the Pyrenees, it is mainly schist.
Their wines have won many awards. You will understand why when you taste them. 40% of the vineyards are organic with the rest well on the way.
