Aveino Vegas 100 Aniversario is deep cherry-red color with ruby highlights.
Aromas of black fruit, spices, and nuts, showing great elegance.
On the palate, it is powerful and very intense, with firm yet elegant tannins and a long, persistent finish.
The company was founded in 1950 by Avelino Vegas in the Segovian village of Santiuste de San Juan Baptista. He started producing wines with grapes from vineyards in the area especially Verdejo. The creation of the Rueda appellation in 1982 was the acknowledgement of the quality of white wine in the region.
To celebrate the centenary of his birth we have made this wine in his honour and we are proud to have his signature on it.
