Overview

One of the very first Médoc second wines. Connétable was created in the 1970s. Over the years, it has benefited from all the care given to the vineyard and increasingly stringent selections.

Dark ruby garnet, purple reflections, delicate edge brightening. Some dried fruit and cassis, ripe fig fruit, nuances of cocoa, subtle herbal savouriness. Medium body, black berry fruit with hints of blackberries, sweet texture, integrated tannins, elegant and fresh, much more lively on the palate than on the nose, versatile.
