Overview

Champagne Gosset based in Aÿ is the oldest wine house in Champagne (1584). Since 1993, the business has been in the ownership of the Cointreau family. Gosset are the proud owners of Grand Cuvée vineyards and source their grapes from a network of growers in Premier and Grand Cru vineyards. The Gosset wines are matured for much longer than legally required, which, along with the suppression of malolactic fermentation, helps to create the wines’ distinctive depth of flavour.

The first nose expresses aromas of blood orange then, as the Champagne warms up, aromas of ripe strawberry, followed by raspberry, start to come through.

The palate is very well-balanced with a luscious, well-built and enveloping aromatic bouquet and ends with a very fresh finish.
