Overview

The Château Mont-Redon estate owns 100 hectares of vines in Châteauneuf du Pape, all in one piece, 30 hectares in Lirac and 20 hectares in Côtes du Rhône, just 6 kilometerse from Mont-Redon, because they want to control the quality and follow the work of the vines closely. Château Mont-Redon are known for thier know-how and skill as wine makers. Typically the wines show a powerful character, great concentration, but always with excellent balance. Château Mont-Redon are one of the stars of the Châteauneuf.

THE WINEMAKER:
Pierre Fabre, is now the forth generation of his family to head up Château Mont-Redon. Pierre is a man of principle with a philosophie to craft great wines buy achieving low yields in the vineyard, working by hand with the vines, and taking a special interest into the environmental practices of Château Mont Redon. In 2017, Pierre became the general manager of the Château Mont-Redon as well has being the head-wine makers.

Our Gigondas offers a spice-laced bouquet of black raspberries, flowers, brioche, and exotic notes of peach and honeysuckle. Medium-bodied, rounded, very pretty and silky on the palate, with ripe tannins.
