Great News for Peybonnehomme & Domaine de la Noe

Neil O'Reilly

The Irish Examiner called our Château Pey-Bonhomme-Les-Tours 2022 “a must try”, and our Domaine de la Noë, L’Orangerie Muscadet de Sevre-et-Maine Sur Lie received 89 points from The Business Post.

Château Pey-Bonhomme-Les-Tours is one of the oldest family-run estates on Bordeaux’s Right Bank, owned and operated by the Hubert family since 1895. Now in its sixth generation with Rachel (pictured), the estate is renowned for its commitment to organic and biodynamic viticulture—pioneering sustainable practices long before they became the norm in Bordeaux. The vineyards, perched on the limestone and clay slopes overlooking the Gironde estuary in Blaye-Côtes-de-Bordeaux, benefit from a unique maritime influence that lends freshness and balance to the wines.
Domaine de la Noë, a historic estate in the heart of Muscadet Sèvre-et-Maine, has been family-run for generations and is celebrated for its deep roots in the western Loire’s winemaking tradition. The L’Orangerie cuvée comes from vineyards planted on classic gneiss and schist soils near the Atlantic coast, where cool breezes and mineral-rich terroir shape the character of the estate’s wines. Committed to sustainable viticulture, the domaine continues to balance heritage and modern precision in crafting expressive, terroir-driven Muscadet.
A special thank you to Leslie Williams and Mick O’Connell for these fantastic write-ups. We’re delighted to see that you love these two as much as we do!
