As we’re right in the middle of our favourite season, I’ve decided that this weeks blog should help, not only our customers, but also ourselves to celebrate.

Sparkle Sparkle!

Champagne Gosset is the oldest established wine house in the Champagne region, founded in 1584 in the village of Aÿ by Pierre Gosset.

Lemon tart, spiced apples, almonds and pastries on the nose of this tasty Champagne. It’s fresh, lively and very precise, with fine bubbles and a light, chalky undertone. 92 points – James Suckling.

The Secret to this story is Jurgen in Montsant and his friends in Champagne who shared their cellars’ special Champagne yeast with Carlos in Penedes where the wine is made. A few small parcels of high altitude plots have been selected to make this Cava.

Medium lemon colour with aromas of green apple, citrus, dried fruit, and fennel. On the palate it shows fresh acidity, light elegance, and integrated bubbles. 92 points – IWSC 2024

La Marca Prosecco is named for the La Marca Trevigiana zone, located in the heart of Italy’s Prosecco region, where it’s grown. Founded more than 50 years ago, La Marca winery combines tradition and innovation, ensuring the highest quality product. Awarded ‘Top 100 Wines of the Year’ by Wine Spectator, La Marca is the only Prosecco producer from the Veneto to be awarded this honour.

James Suckling wrote; “Noted for candied apple and pear hints, light body, crisp bubbles and classic Prosecco character.” 92 Points.
