Best Value Wines

Neil O'Reilly

Stop me if you’ve heard this before! Our friends in Michele Chiarlo and Bodega Garzon have been listed in Wine Spectators Top 10 Value wines. We’re just delighted to see great wines be recognised in such a prestigious list!

For the first time, a Piemontese wine enters the Top 10 Wine Values of 2025, recognizing the value expressed by the territory and a long-term work based on quality, accessibility and identity.

Elegant and intense, with notes of fresh mature red fruit, such as cherry and currant: Harmonious, with good structure and roundness, beautiful savoury finish.

Bodega Garzón is widely regarded as the reference for contemporary Uruguayan Tannat.
“Capacious notes of spiced blueberry compote, red florals and a squidge of balsamic; full of juicy tension and verve with a persuasive freshness that lingers.”  96 Points! – Decanter World Wine Awards.
As Dry January comes to an end for so many people, what better way to celebrate than to explore new wines that show value. We couldn’t be happier to see our wines mentioned in such a list.
