The success of Argentinian Malbec is something to be commended, and no one is complaining that the public has embraced a wine as much as they have these mighty Mendoza Malbecs.
However, I do sometimes wonder whether this love for Malbec detracts from other wonderful wines of the region. So, I decided that I’m going to show off some truly fantastic Cab Francs to show that South America is not a one-trick pony.

Bodega Garzon Cabernet Franc Reserva
The nose displays aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, black cherry, spices and herbal hints. Appealing palate, easy to drink. Juicy finish. 91 Points – Decanter
