Overview

The company was founded in 1950 by Avelino Vegas in the Segovian village of Santiuste de San Juan Baptista. He started producing wines with grapes from vineyards in the area especially Verdejo. The creation of the Rueda appellation in 1982 was the acknowledgement of the quality of white wine in the region.

It is the name of a Greek goddess, Homer dedicates an entire chapter of the Odyssey to narrating the adventures of Ulysses with the beautiful Circe.

Straw yellow, pale, very bright.
It displays aromas of exotic fruits, white flowers and varietal aromas, pineapple, lemon peel, apricot, freshly cut hay, fennel.
Fresh and sweet, with a soft, silky mid-palate and a very long, perfumed aftertaste.
