Sense Cap Cava Reserva

Capçanes, a village hidden away in the Priorato hills inland from Tarragona has a long wine growing history. Following phyloxera, one fifth of the area was replanted, mostly with Garnacha. Some vineyards are almost 100 years old, although yields are low. In 1933 five families from the village established Celler de Capçanes. Today at Capçanes two winemakers combine their talents. Angel Teixido, the most experienced winemaker at the winery, is also in charge of viticulture. Jurgen Wagner, who studied at Geisenheim and the University of Tarragona, brings his experience to composing and styling the blends. This is a dynamic winery producing exciting wines.

Bright straw yellow color with golden reflections. Medium-high intensity aroma, anise, peach, apricot, apple blossom and light toasted touches (almond). On the palate, fragrant notes of white fruits such as green apple and pear, citrus aromas and a touch of dried and toasted fruits, spicy notes, fennel and anise. It shows a fresh, vibrant acidity, with fine and integrated bubbles. It is a fresh cava, very pleasant on the palate and with a long finish.
