Our Gallica rosé takes its name from an old variety of very fragrant rose that was once found in the gardens of Mas Miraflors, the headquarters of our Domaine in Canet en Roussillon. In order to preserve the full aromatic potential and freshness of our Gallica rosé, we have begun the conversion of our vineyard to regenerative agriculture, which improves soil fertility and increases the resilience of our vines to drought.

In 2014, when the harvest was over, we discovered a few forgotten rows of vines on newly acquired plots. The grapes are over-ripe and have a high alcohol content, but we still decide to vinify them as a dry wine. The result is astonishing in its quality and will then be blended with Syrah:

Full bodied and aromatic Orange Wine with lively flavours and aromas of orange peel, pepper, ginger, melon and citrus. It has light, dry tannins and a coppery/amber colour from the skins.
